General Description
Brunel University supported many sportswomen and sportsmen in the sixteens. This Sports Bursary Award is also to support the athletics needs in higher education. The Sport Scholarship will be focusing on training and support facilities in campus. The university offers various sport scholarships including the Sports Bursary Award. The performed sports are Rowing/Canoeing, Athletics, Rugby Union, Olympic Weight Lifting and Netball in addition to many different sports. The scholarships includes a cash award, sport science support, athlete-friendly accommodation, free sport scholarship kit, discount fitness rehabilitation, Media Promotion and free use of world-class facilities of sports. The cash awards varies annually. The programme is not covering the costs of accommodation or tuition fees. Current students at Brunel University or applicant with the offer form will be applying with My Application Portal.
Requirements
Any applicants can apply since they are meeting the academic requirements for the course and been given unconditional or conditional place at the University of Bristol for 2013/2014 academic year. The competition is going to be very tough, so each applicant should prove evidence for being eligible for the award. All of the applicants must be capable of demonstrating achievement of sports at International Junior level or equivalent for any listed sport.
