Gibbs Prizes in Theology are offered to theology students at Oxford University. This first is a prize awarded on the results of the examination for the final Honor School of Theology. The second is a prize of £275 that is awarded for the best performance in theology in the final Honor of Philosophy and Theology. The third is a prize of £100 that is awarded for the outstanding extended essay submitted for the final examination for the Final Honor School of Theology. And the fourth is a book prize that is awarded on the results of the preliminary examination in theology.

Requirements

Students should be current members of the university. At the time of taking the public examination or completing the coursework, students must not have exceeded the twelfth term from matriculation. The University can, however, grant dispensation if a good reason for exceeding the twelfth term from matriculation is presented.
