General Description
The Anita Borg Systers Organization offers special Pass-It-On (PIO) awards in order to establish a network of women technologists helping one another. The cash awards are intended to support women seeking their place i nthe fields of technology. The awards may be granted to women in all countries who are interested in launching their science career and are at least 18 years of age.
Requirements
Applicants must present a specific project for which they wish to receive financial support. All research and scientific projects have to benefit 'girls and women' worldwide. The organization may also offer smaller grants to help women students pay the costs of tuition , assist in job transfers and other transitions in life.
