About this scholarship
General Description
Each student who enroll in the School of Health and Professions’ Optometry course will be entered into the pool for the Dean's award for academic excellence, School of Health Professions. This award is obtainable in one of 2 forms, namely, Gold and Silver. The Gold Award is set at the sum of £1200 (in equipment) and the Silver award is set at the sum of £600 (in equipment).
Requirements
Optometry students who have listed Plymouth University as their 1st choice in institution and have done so by May will be eligible. Furthermore, the requirements for the gold award include the achieving of A levels higher than AAB and be enrolled in the University for September. For the Silver award, the applicant needs to have achieved a minimum of AAB on their A levels and also be enrolled for September.
