What you get

You will receive a one-off cash grant, which is paid out once a year. There is no fixed amount. This depends on your financial situation, which is why no fixed amount is published. You can spend the money on anything, including your education, but it is not tied to a degree course. The grant comes from the ‘Fælleslegatet for værdigt trængende i Faxe Kommune’, a charitable fund administered by Faxe Municipality in Denmark.

Who can apply

• Where you live: You live in the municipality of Faxe in Denmark.
• Financial need: You are in financial difficulty. You can prove this by providing a household budget, your tax assessment 2025 (årsopgørelse 2025) and your provisional tax assessment 2026 (forskudsopgørelse 2026).
• Field of study: There are no thematic or study-related requirements. You may use the funding for any purpose.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality may apply, provided they live in the region.
• Priority: A portion of the funds will be allocated in the following order: to residents of the parish of Vester Egede; to confirmands in the parish of Dalby; to young people who were born and confirmed in the parish of Dalby and who require support with their education; and to residents of the parish of Dalby.

Please submit your application by 23 October 2026, either online via borger.dk or by post to Faxe Municipality. In your application, you must set out your financial situation and enclose the household and tax documents listed above.
