The Sensodyne Award

You will receive a one-off cash prize of 127 EUR, as well as a trophy, which you may keep until the next winner is chosen. The prize is awarded once a year and is not a monthly grant. The money is provided by Stafford Miller Limited, the manufacturer of ‘Sensodyne’ toothpaste. It is awarded to a student at the School of Dental Hygiene at University College Cork (UCC).

Who can apply

• Programme: You are studying dental hygiene at UCC, a two-year full-time course.
• Results: You achieve the highest overall mark in the second-year dental hygiene examination.
• First attempt: You pass the exam at the first attempt and complete it in the shortest possible time, without any resits or delays.

How to apply

There is nothing to apply for. The prize is awarded automatically based on your exam results. The winner is announced at the dental school's annual awards ceremony.
