University of Birmingham - Social Work programmes

General Description

Social worker degree students can be eligible for a set of support possibilities.

Students on their first year are entitled to support from Student Finance England (SFE). They may also receive a Chamberlain Award from the University.

For the following years, students who do well can be eligible for further support from the NHS. They can receive up to £4,862.50 divided into 3 yearly instalments.

For postgraduates, there is the Social Work Bursary, which is partially means tested, with a minimum amount of £3,362.50.

Requirements

The Social Work programmes are only available to UK students pursuing an approved Social Work degree.
