General Description
Postgraduate students enrolled in research programmes at the University of Birmingham can teach on undergraduate programmes to strengthen their academic skills and earn a salary in the process. These teaching assistantships are a means of part-time employment. In addition to the teaching assistantship, opportunities are also available for demonstrators, marking papers, and tutorial guidance. The amount earned while pursuing these part-time employment options will depend on the number of hours worked and also the arrangements made with the research supervisor or programme tutor.
Requirements
Students must be enrolled in a postgraduate research programme to be eligible to apply for teaching assistantship and other university work.
