General Description
The Disabled Student Allowance at Bournemouth University is aimed at students with special needs and who require funding to provide some financial stability while attending the university. The award covers a number of different costs. These costs can range from photocopying expenses, to non-medical helpers, to travel costs, and to specialist equipment.
Requirements
Unlike other grants and financial awards that are assessed by household income, the Disabled Student Allowance is assessed according to need.
