About this scholarship
What the CNRS mobility grant gives you
You will receive 2,000 EUR per month for a short research stay of 2 weeks to 2 months at CEFRES in Prague, a French research centre for the humanities and social sciences. The funding covers your travel, accommodation, meals and other expenses during your stay. It is provided by CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences, the division for the humanities and social sciences within the French National Centre for Scientific Research. The aim is to bring researchers from abroad to Prague to develop a project in collaboration with CEFRES.
Who can apply
- Who you are: You are a researcher or scientist living outside France and would like to collaborate with CEFRES.
- Field of study: Any discipline within the humanities and social sciences.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
- Where you go: You are spending your time at CEFRES in Prague.
How to apply
Please send your application to the Director of CEFRES. The official call for applications is published on the CNRS website. The deadline for applications is 5 January.
How realistic are your chances?
This scholarship is highly selective. It is aimed exclusively at researchers in the humanities and social sciences who wish to collaborate with CEFRES in Prague, so the pool of applicants is small. If your research ties in with a specific project at the centre and you can present a clear plan, your chances are good. Above all, a convincing academic justification is crucial here.
