About the Kühne Logistics University
Kühne Logistics University is a private, state-recognized university located in Hamburg’s harbor.
The KLU, which is sponsored by the nonprofit Kühne-Stiftung, offers a great variety of courses and research in logistics, supply chain management and business management. The BSc, MSc and Ph.D. programs stand out by an international student body, an excellent faculty, an intimate learning atmosphere and a close cooperation with companies. Moreover, KLU is characterized by an outstanding research expertise in the fields of logistics and related business aspects.
The Kühne Logistics University also offers an Executive MBA program, a seminar series and different international summer and autumn schools, which provides excellent opportunities for professionals to expand their knowledge.
KLU ranks among the top universities in the 2014 Handelsblatt research ranking of business administration faculties in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. KLU also achieved a top rating in the five most important criteria of the CHE Center for Higher Education ranking, where the current master student of business administration rated the overall learning environment, academic program, supervision and international orientation.
The following scholarships are available
Bachelor in Management Program
- Several KLU merit-based scholarships (50% - 100% tuition); selection criteria are outstanding academic performances (GPA less than or equal to 1.5), social commitment, and extracurricular activities
- High school exchange scholarships (100% tuition); selection criteria are strong academic achievement in high school (GPA less than or equal to 2.0) and at least 5 month stay abroad during a high school exchange program
Master in Management Program
- Several KLU merit-based scholarships (50% - 100% tuition); selection criteria are outstanding academic performances (GPA less than or equal to 1.5), social commitment, and extracurricular activities.
- 1 KLU scholarship in cooperation with the Klaus Murmann Fellow Program (100% tuition); applicants have to be scholars of the Klaus Murmann Fellowship Program (Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft).
Master in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program
- Several KLU merit-based scholarships (50% - 100% tuition); applicants have to prove outstanding academic performance (GPA less than or equal to 1.5), social commitment, and extracurricular activities.

Applicants are chosen on the basis of outstanding academic performance, social commitment and/or extracurricular activities.
