Oxford Executive MBA - The Oxford Executive MBA Scholarship for Women in association with the 30% Club

What the scholarship gives you

You will receive the 50% off the tuition fees from the Oxford Executive MBA at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. This part-time programme allows you to study alongside your career, and the fee waiver covers half the costs. You will also be invited to events organised by ‘Moving Ahead’, the mentoring partner of the 30% Club. Mentoring means that you will be supported by experienced professionals. The 30% Club is a network dedicated to increasing the number of women in leadership roles. Up to two of these scholarships are awarded per intake.

Who can apply

• Gender: You are a woman.
• Programme: You are applying for the Oxford Executive MBA at Saïd Business School.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, regardless of whether they are studying in the UK or coming from abroad.
• Field of study: Any academic background. This MBA is open to graduates from all disciplines.
• Track record: You have a track record of outstanding academic and professional achievements. You demonstrate leadership qualities or clear leadership potential.
• Motivation: You want to be a role model for other women and represent the university both during and after your studies.

How to apply

There is no separate scholarship application form. You should submit a complete application for the Executive MBA. In the ‘Funding’ section, upload a supporting statement of no more than 400 words explaining how you meet the criteria. The application deadline is 15 September. Apply in an early admissions round to increase your chances. All applicants who have been offered a place in a particular round will be considered together.

How realistic are your chances?

Only up to two scholarships are awarded per year group, so competition is fierce, even though the pool of applicants is limited to women applying for a specific degree programme. Selection is based on merit – demonstrated leadership qualities and a compelling personal statement – rather than financial need. If you already have a strong track record and apply in an early round, your prospects are good.
