Non-repayable maintenance grants are offered at Bournemouth University to assist UK students with expenses associated with their studies. Students are automatically assessed by Student Finance England to determine their eligibility according to their household income. The amount of money that a student receives also depends on their household income. For students who have a household income of £25,000 or less the maximum grant is £3,387. Applicants who have a household income in the range of £25,000 to £42,620 can qualify for a partial grant.
The assessment of the student’s income and eligibility for the maintenance grant is done through Student Finance England. Only UK students are eligible to apply and they must come from low-income backgrounds Students who have a household income over £42,620 are not eligible.
