General Description

In the UK the NHS funds a range of different courses, including at the University of Hertfordshire. This funding covers the full cost of tuition fees for eligible students. NHS bursaries are also available. All qualifying students get their tuition fees paid in full but the bursaries are means tested. This means the award varies from student to student. Those who qualify can get financial support for living costs and for costs associated with their course. Students loans are also available at a reduced rate.

Requirements

The courses at the University of Hertfordshire that qualify for NHS financial help include adult nursing degrees, children's nursing degrees, mental health nursing degrees, learning disability nursing degrees, dietetics degrees, midwifery degrees, physiotherapy degrees, diagnostic radiography and imaging degrees, and radiotherapy and oncology degrees. The tuition fee support is available to EU and UK students. The bursary support is only available for UK students. All students must study full-time to qualify.
