General Description
This award has been created by the German National Academic Foundation. The Karl Schmidt-Rottluff scholarship aims to honor exceptional artists. Every 2 years the scholarship is granted to freelancing artists. The stipend pays a monthly installment of 1.200€ and is granted for 12 months. It may be extended up to 2 years.
Requirements
Creating artists with a completed Arts degree are entitled to apply. Graduation must have been within the past 5 years. Exceptional performance is a must to be considered for this program. Applicants have to be suggested for this award – self-application is not possible. Only citizens of a European Union country may apply.
