General Description
The London South Bank University has established the Elite Sports Programme with the purpose of attracting talented student athletes. Members of the Elite Sports Programme are eligible to receive up to £3000 financial support each year. The level of funding will depend on performance, potential and professional profile.
Requirements
The Elite Sports Programme is intended to support student athletes enrolled at London South Bank University. Applicants must demonstrate a high level athletic performance; they are also expected to compete for the University in relevant competitions including British University and College Sports (BUCS) leagues and championships and the World University Games where appropriate. In addition, members are expected to contribute to their Athletic Union club, maintain or improve their sporting performance and academic progress and at times, promote the sporting profile of the University and to attend other promotional events held by the wider Academy.
