General Description
The City of Kordelio-Evosmos and the online magazine decobook are organising the 2nd International Visual Competition FeedHope. The competition is open to any visual artist (painter, sculptor, graphic artist, photographer, architect, video artist, crafter, iconographer-illustrator, etc.). The basic material that the artist should work with is foodstuff. This includes in particular packaged foodstuff, so that after the end of the competition they can be given to people who need them. In other words, participants are invited to create an artwork on packaged foodstuff or using packaged foods suitable for consumption. Examples of foodstuff: Canned food, Dry food (e.g., biscuits, rusks), Legumes, Pasta, Liquids (oil, honey, wine), Baby food powder, Sweets for children, Flour, sugar etc. The food must have a use by date of more than 6 months and is to be delivered packed. The award applies to: Painting, graphic design, or any other form of artistic activity on the food packaging. Any intervention on the packaging, should ensure that the food within will remain intact and suitable for consumption after opening.
Requirements
Illustrated products must have more than six months of expiry date, and must be ready for consumption.
