General Description

In an effort to encourage the development of the new generation of professional elites, the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation offers world-wide scholarships to Ukrainian students who achieve high levels of academic excellence. The grants partially cover the general costs of obtaining a two-year master's degree abroad but do not exceed 50,000 dollars. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates have to submit a 2,000-character essay on their master's programme of choice and how they might make use of their acquired knowledge in Ukraine.

Requirements

Candidates must be citizens of Ukraine and under 35 years of age. They must have completed a bachelor's degree or higher and have an excellent academic record. When applying for a master's programme, candidates should choose a university among the world’ best 200, as listed in the Times Higher Education THE. Students who choose to study in a field important to the economic and social development of Ukraine, like agriculture, environment, ecology, law, or public administration, will be favoured.
