General Description
The Lloyds Scholarship programme offers help to the most successful students at the University of Edinburgh. It is available for four years and in total it is worth up to £19,000. Along with bursary, the scholarship holder gets up to two ten-week paid internships at Lloyds. One of those internships must be in the summer before the final year. The internship salary is approximately £18,000. Also, every scholarship holder has a mentor and a buddy provided by Lloyds. They will also be helped with their CV and get interview advice to improve their communication and business qualities. The successful student is also expected to take part in least 100 hours of volunteering work.
Requirements
This scholarship is available to high achieving undergraduate students at the university of Edinburgh. Applicants must be entering their first year of an undergraduate degree. The scholarship is especially meant to support students who from Scotland. In addition, the household income of the applicant should be less than £25,000, as assessed by the Student Loans Company. Applicants must have a place at the University of Edinburgh.
