General Description

The International Students’ Childcare Fees Remission Scheme aims to provide discretionary financial support to allow EU and International students, with preschool age children at the approved childcare facility, to start a studying course. The applications in the light of every applicant’s financial circumstances in addition to the extent of childcare required. The remission will be granted for sessions of childcare during university term time in addition to 100 weeks f the summer vacation and it will not exceed half of the main cost of the childcare provision taken every term. Other entitlement for free nursery education for children aging between 3 or 4 years will be taking into consideration where the awarded amount for children will be less. The remission will be considered for only one child in the first instance and additional children may be considered later at the academic year that will be depended on the funds availability.

Requirements

Registered part and full-time EU and International students are eligible for applying. Applicants should have children or a child attending the University Nursery or any other registered or approved facility for childcare. For applying, you should fill an Application Form and Childcare Information Form for the International Students' Childcare Fees Remission Scheme.
