The Chevening scholarship offers great benefits to its recipients. The purpose of the award is not limited to tuition fees. Instead, it includes travel cost to and from the recipients home country, an allowance, living costs, cost for additional baggage when traveling, and also a grant for study related travel.
To qualify for the Chevening Award an applicant need to hold citizenship within a Chevening-eligible region and have the intention to return to their country of citizenship within 2 years of utilizing the award to its full extent. Applicants who are seen as viable will also hold the minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent and have secured a minimum of 2 years work experience prior to applying. Proficiency in English is also a qualifying factor for this award.
