Two ESRC studentships will be made available by The Centre for Criminology at the University of Oxford. One studentship will be made according to the +3 model, the other one can be either +3 or 1+3 studentship. The +3 studentship comprises payment of tuition fees and a stipend for the duration of the study (3 years). The 1+3 studentship will cover tuition fees and provide a stipend valued at £13,590 per annum for 4 years. It will entitle students to study for the MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice or the MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice (Research Methods), and to continue on to doctoral studies in the same field.
Only UK and EU students are eligible. UK students will benefit from the full award. EU students will only be exempt from tuition fees. The +3 studentship requires a good first degree and a Master’s degree in any relevant social science.
