As a means of enabling prospective undergraduate students in the History Department to take up their offer of study at University College London, regardless of their individual financial situations, the Cassell and Stein History Bursary offers one student a full bursary of £25,000 for the duration of their programme at UCL, subject to satisfactory academic achievement. The bursary is awarded to cover maintenance costs and will be paid in addition to any other funding received through the main UCL Bursary/NSP schemes. The selected candidate will be notified as soon as possible once a decision has been made. Applicants should note that all scholarship and student-funding schemes are subject to availability of funds, and these details provided are subject to change at any time. Applicants are also urged to check information regularly to ensure awareness of current procedures, deadlines, etc.
To apply, students must: be classified as a UK or EU-domiciled student, hold an offer of admission to UCL to complete a full-time undergraduate degree for the academic session within the History Department for the academic session intake, and demonstrate a financial need.
