University College London - H.B.Bursary

General Description

To financially assist one prospective MBBS undergraduate student to take up their offer of study at the University College London, without regards to his or her financial situation, one H.B. Bursary will be awarded in the amount of £8,333 per year for the remainder of his or her programme at UCL, subject to satisfactory academic achievement. The bursary is distributed with the intention to cover maintenance costs, and will be paid in addition to any other funding received through the main UCL Bursary/NSP schemes. Applicants should note that all scholarship and student-funding schemes are subject to availability of funds, and these details provided are subject to change at any time. Applicants are also urged to check information regularly to ensure awareness of current procedures, deadlines, etc. The selected candidate will be notified as soon as possible once a decision has been made.

Requirements

All applicants must: be domiciled in the UK or EU; have been a registered student at a state school, or an independent school with a full scholarship, in the UK; currently hold an offer of admission to UCL to work toward a full-time MBBS degree for the academic session intake; show a financial need, as to be demonstrated in the application.
