Designed to enable and encourage UK-domicile students to pursue an undergraduate programme in Physics and Astronomy at the University College London, the Kaziewicz Bursary is awarded to one student for three years from their current academic year, in the amount of £8,000 per annum. The bursary is intended to be applied towards maintenance costs for three years of the student's programme at UCL, subject to satisfactory academic progress, and will be paid in addition to any funding received through the main UCL Bursary/NSP schemes. Applicants should note that all scholarship and student-funding schemes are subject to availability of funds, and these details provided are subject to change at any time. Applicants are also urged to check information regularly to ensure awareness of current procedures, deadlines, etc. The selected candidate will be notified as soon as possible once a decision has been made.
Applicants are required to: be prospective UK-domicile students planning to pursue their undergraduate studies at UCL, whose annual household income is less than £42,000; hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate programme in the department of Physics and Astronomy for the academic session intake; and show a financial need, as to be demonstrated in the application.
