General Description

The Adolf Adam Informatics Prize promotes outstanding master theses in the area of computer science studies at Johannes Kepler University in Linz. The goal of the prize is to introduce the achievements of Linz computer science graduates to the general public. The winning thesis will be presented at a function for students from Upper Austria.

The prize amount is 1,500 Euros. The prize is tendered by the informatics department and sponsored by the Austrian Computer Society, the Austrian Society for Informatics and other business partners.

Requirements

Graduates of the JKU master's program for computer science and bioinformatics who have completed their masters studies in the previous school year (October 1st to September 30th) may apply. Their master thesis must have received a mark of "very good."
