General Description

The Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria offers scholarships for international students interested in undertaking Master´s degree programmes in the field of International Relations at an Austrian university. A monthly amount of 940 euro will be provided for a maximum of 10 months (an extension for another 10 months is possible upon proof of academic success).

Requirements

Applications are accepted for master degree programmes in the field of international relations which directly entitle the graduate to study in a doctoral/PhD programme at a post-secondary educational institution. Exempted are applicants who have successfully completed the Diploma Programme of the Diplomatic Academy (DA) of Vienna and are accepted for the second year of the MAIS (Master of International Studies) programme. In that case, an additional requirement is that the graduation of the studies that led to the acceptance to the Diploma Programme of the DA was not done in Austria. The age limit for candidates is set at 35 years old. Applicants should be Israeli nationals or students who are descendants of forced labourers or who come from countries that were especially affected by the NS regime, particularly by the recruitment of forced labourers.
