Aberdeen University offers a limited number of Access Scholarships. These scholarships are means tested. They are only available to undergraduates. And they are worth between £2,000 and £3,000 a year. They are available to students for up to three years.
Applicants must have placed Aberdeen University as a firm choice. They must also have achieved a high level of academic performance. And they must qualify under means testing. There are two residual household income bands that are under the Access Scholarship means-testing. Band 1 equals a household income of less than £20k. Band 1 allows the student to obtain £3k. This amount is available to students every year for three years. Band 2 equals household incomes between £20k and £30k. Band 2 allows the student to attain £2k per year. This is available to the student every year for three years.
