General Description
The China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the University of Bristol offer China Scholarship Council Scholarships. These scholarships are for ten Chinese students willing to study on PhD programmes in the UK, lasting up to four years. The scholarship covers: the full tuition, research fees, health insurance, a return international airfare to the UK, visa application fees and research costs (up to £1,000, where relevant).
Requirements
Applicants must be Chinese citizens or permanent residents of the PRC and they need to return to the PRC after the scholarship has ended. Additionally, they need to receive an offer letter from the University of Bristol and meet the academic criteria for the scholarship, as well as the the selection criteria created by the China Scholarship Council – for that, they should complete the CSC Application Form and the CSC Employer Reference Form. Moreover, the applicants must not be working abroad at the time of applying.
