General Description

The Master’s by distance learning scholarships – Uganda are intended to assist talented but economically disadvantaged students from Uganda. The scholarships fund all tuition fees, course materials and examinations. The following courses are eligible for this programme: MSc Human Resource Management and Development; MSc Management and Information Systems; Master of Public Health (MPH)

Requirements

The scholarships are open to students of academic merit from Uganda with a first or second class degree wishing to pursue a full-time campus-based postgraduate taught masters Masters degree at the University of Manchester. Candidates must be nationals of Uganda who have not previously studies abroad. Candidates also need to have a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5 or 7.0 for some courses. Candidates need to have a minimum of 2 years work experience. Candidates must commit to returning to their home country after their studies and be able to demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact on the future of their country.
