The University of Edinburgh will award 50 PhD scholarships in the frame of the “Principal's Career Development PhD Scholarships” scheme. This effort is made to attract the most outstanding PhD students to the University. The scholarship will cover UK/EU tuition fees (overseas students might have to pay the difference), and a yearly stipend of £14,000. They are tenable for three years and are subject to satisfactory progress.
Applicants are expected to have a remarkable academic record (have or about to obtain a UK first class or 2:1 honours degree at undergraduate level), as well as an excellent English (IELTS of 7.0 at least). Nationality won’t be taken into account.
