General Description
Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Edinburgh invites applications for up to two fees only PhD scholarships. The scholarships will be funded by IMES and will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate, currently £3900 p.a. (about 4875 €). Subject to satisfactory progress, the scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of three years. Requirements
These scholarships are open for doctoral students interested in the areas of Iranian Studies and pre-modern Islamicate History, Religion or Culture (Arabic or Persian). Only applications to year one of a PhD programme of study will be considered.
