General Description
As much as 160 students from India study currently at Northumbria University. They are enrolled on various programmes, the most popular of them being Biotechnology, Business with International Management, Design, Electrical Power Engineering, Fashion Management, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Sport Management and many others. The best of them have the right to apply for an International Academic Scholarship. This allowance is based on the student’s accomplishments in his educational path so far. Whether they will be granted this scholarship or not depends on a few aspects, such as average grades, individual subject grades, the kind of obtained qualifications and the type of institution where they previously studied. The amount of an allowance is £2,000 or £1,500, based on a student’s educational performance and general results achieved in their prior education.Requirements
All students from India, as well as all international students, who want to apply for an International Academic Scholarship must meet three requirements. Firstly, they need to have an overseas fee status. Secondly, they should be self-funding students. And thirdly, they must study on a full-time course at the university.
