General Description

The Warwick Taught Masters Scholarship Scheme is totaling £600,000. It will be supporting course costs and living expenses. It is a part of a Higher Education Council for England aims to break barriers to postgraduate studies. The scholarship will be covering tuition fees costs for the academic year or equivalent part-time study. Regarding the non-standard fee courses, it will be covering minimum of £7,050 through the tuition fees. It will be covering full costs of tuition fees for Certificate and Diploma courses. Successful applicants will get a non-repayable bursary values £4,000 to assist with course costs and it will be paid over three installments.

Requirements

Applicants don’t have to take the degree course at Warwick University to be eligible for applying. They should have been offered a place on a taught postgraduate certificate, Masters or postgraduate diploma programme at Warwick University for the academic year. Applicants should be EU/Home students and will pay tuition fees in “home” rate. They have to satisfy the entry criteria of the course for the programme you are applying for. They should be self-financing and will not receive any additional sponsorships or funding to the costs. Must have undertaken study previously at postgraduate level or holding already a PhD or Masters level qualification.

Priority will be given to students who have been an undergraduate Home/EU student in receipt of a means tested bursary from UK, have been an undergraduate Home/EU student at a UK institution, being currently in receipt of at least one specified UK government means tested benefit. There are other points including having entered University at undergraduate level from a Care background or as a Foyer resident, having received DS, DLA, AA or PIP or specifically a female offer holder for an eligible taught masters course in case you are in an under-represented group of chosen studying course.
