The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations will be funding the Chevening Scholarships. The programme was inaugurated in 1983 and has since made its way into the international arena with up to 118 member countries (USA and EU excluded). For this year alone, the fund will be backing up more than 600 students. Coverage includes full or part funding for full-term course in postgraduate level.
Chevening Scholarships will select individuals with excellent academic performance and with leadership qualities from all over the world. They should also be willing to study postgraduate courses at UK universities.
