General Description
The Department of Philosophy offers a total of 10 postgraduate scholarships. 5 of these are open to all applicants, the other five are only open to past and present Warwick philosophy undergraduates. The purpose of these scholarships is to fund postgraduate study on the M.A. Philosophy, M.A. Phil/Lit, M.A. in Continental Philosophy or M.Phil Philosophy programmes. The length of award is one year. The 5 scholarships which are open to all applicants have a value of 6,700 Pound Sterling. The other five, which are open only to past and present undergraduates, have a value of 3,350 Pound Sterling. Awards will be based on academic merit.
Requirements
There is no separate application for this award. All students who apply for a Masters course in the Philosophy department will be considered. Outstanding students will receive the award automatically. The awards are based on evidence of outstanding academic performance in the applications. Therefore it is advisable to include as much evidence as you can.
