General Description

The Carnegie Trust manages the Henry Dryerre Scholarship programme. The scholarship is funded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and has an estimated value of more than £14,800. It targets students intending on pursuing a PhD course in medical or veterinary physiology. The award is made once every three years.

Requirements

Graduates of Scottish universities intending on undertaking a PhD in medical or veterinary physiology are invited to apply, regardless of their nationality. Applicants are expected to have a degree with first-class honours in the previously mentioned fields, and to be in receipt of an offer for a PhD at a Scottish institute.
