General Description

The University of Sheffield is offering the Vice Chancellor's Indian Scholarships to promote PhD Opportunities at the University of Sheffield within Doctoral Training Centres. The University is funding 10 scholarships for Indian PhD applicants who will be starting their research. This funding is available in the following areas: Arts & Humanities, Bioscience, Engineering, Natural Environment and Social Sciences. Length: 3-4 years, depending on the area and the Doctoral Training Centre. Value: Full overseas tuition fees, a stipend of EURO 17,350 per year.

Requirements

Awards are open to Indian applicants only, who are currently Indian residents and who have a first degree from an Indian Institution; Applicants should meet the entry requirements for a PhD and should be applying to start their first year of study on a full-time or part-time PhD with the University.
