The ERASMUS programme of the European Union supports students who wish to do a work placement abroad. The goal of the programme is to provide European students with the opportunity to gain professional experience in an international environment. The support will be awarded for a period of 2 to 12 months. Depeding on the host country chosen the monthly grant will be between 300 and 500 Euros. In addition students may eligible for a grant to help cover the travel and subsistence costs.
Students must be registered in a higher education institution and enrolled in a course of studies that leads to a recognised degree. Applicants should also be able to show academic success. However, these conditions can be handled differently depending on the university and / or faculty. For more information, please contact the Academic International Office or the ERASMUS coordinators of the respective university.
