General Description
The students of the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at The Coventry University now have the opportunity to win the EC Excellence Scholarships. The scholarships are intended for highly qualified full-time students who can fulfil the full list of eligibility criteria. Later, the successful scholars may choose the options of payment, either to receive £1,000 cash in two instalments; or £1,500 discount on university accommodation charges that will be applied to the two instalments. The university will manage this process for you directly with the Accommodation team. In order to continue receiving a Scholarship, students have to meet strict renewal conditions. Applications should be submitted as early as possible as late applications will not be accepted.
Requirements
Eligible candidates are the ones who have been offered a place on a course in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and have made a firm (CF, UF) commitment to Coventry University during the UCAS admissions phase; will be starting on the first year of a full-time undergraduate course in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing; are resident in the UK; have checked the list of qualifications and have been given predicted grades that will achieve the required BBB grades or above or equivalent qualifications.
The EC Excellence Scholarship is available to students who achieve BBB or above from one of the following sources: three full A-levels (e.g. BBB or above); OR an International Baccalaureate with at least 34 points; OR equivalent vocational qualifications such as BTEC Extended Diploma (3 awards).
