General Description

Students applying for a DPhil at Oxford University in Engineering, specialising in Biomedical Engineering are eligible for this scholarship. It is called the Oxford-Bellhouse Graduate Scholarship. It is named after a former Oxford professor - Professor Brian Bellhouse. It is funded by the university, the Bellhouse Foundation, and donations from the professor's former students. The scholarship includes the full cost of tuition fees. There is also a grant for living costs. It is valued at over £13,700. The scholarship lasts for the duration of the course. This means, for example, it lasts for two years if the course lasts for two years. It is subject to an annual review though to check academic performance.

Requirements

To be eligible students must be from the European Economic Area or Switzerland. They must also be on the listed course. The scholarship is given to the most academically gifted student.
