The Oxford-David Jones Graduate Scholarship is for history students at the University of Oxford. It is funded by the university and by donations. It is named after former history teacher and graduate of Oxford David Jones. It covers the full cost of tuition fees. A grant for living expenses is also given. This is worth over £13,700 per year. The award is given for the duration of the course but there is an annual review to check that suitable academic progress has been achieved.
This scholarship is available for graduate students. Students can study any subject in the Faculty of History. Some courses are excluded though. These include Postgraduate Certificate courses, Postgraduate Diploma courses, part-time courses, and non-matriculated courses. Students must be from the European Economic Area or Switzerland. It is given to the most academically gifted student.
