General Description

Google Anita Borg Scholarships are for female undergraduate and graduate students. The scholarship is named after Dr. Anita Borg who founded The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. The technology company Google supports the scholarship. They are awarded to students studying at universities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa so UK students can apply. The award is worth 7,000 euros.


Applicants must be women. They must also be studying at a university in Europe, the Middle East or Africa. And they must be studying a course in computer science, computer engineering, informatics or something similar. The can be studying a bachelor's, master's or a PhD but they must be full-time. The scholarship is awarded based on past academic performance.
