General Description
The Protestant Academic Foundation offers sponsorships to doctoral students of all disciplines following the guidelines set by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Recipients will be awarded a monthly fellowship of 1050 euro for a maximum of 36 months, plus a one-off research allowance of 100 euro.
Requirements
This scholarship is open for PhD students who have not yet reached the final stages of their doctoral project. Candidates must provide evidence of an above-average academic performance in previous degree studies (an average grade of at least “Gut” or “Vollbefriedigend” in the case of Law studies will be required). As a rule, this scholarship is awarded to members of a protestant church; applicants who do not belong to such an organization can also be given grants if they fulfil certain requirements.
