General Description

The Institute for partnership works constitution at JKU assigns Karl-Leits Partnership prizes. The prize is awarded for the scientific work that focuses on the topic "distributive justice" in the broadest sense of that term.

The prize consists of two categories "Science award" and "Practice award". The "Science award" is assigned every two yeas in Upper Austria. The awarded applicants will receive prize in amount of: 3 000 Euros for academic writings (scientific literature, habilitations), 2000 Euros for doctoral dissertations, and 1000 Euros for writing diploma and master's thesis.

Practice awards are given to the outstanding personalities who have given their contribution to the concept of partnership.

Requirements

The chance to apply for this award have the students who are attending JKU and Universities of applied science, currently working on their diploma thesis, master's thesis, dissertations or habilitation on the "distributive justice" related topics.
