General Description
The IMechE Undergraduate Scholarship is offered at various accredited institutions; its purpose is to offer assistance to students who are about to start or have already started on mechanical engineering degrees accredited by the Institution, also providing opportunities for academic and industrial placement abroad. Each scholarship/award is worth £8000, with students receiving £2000 per year, for up to 4 years. This excludes the period of 12 month industrial placement. The scholarship is renewable annually, subject to satisfactory progress being made.
Requirements
This scholarship is open to students pursuing or planning to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree. Applicants must have attained a high degree of academic proficiency.
