General Description

The Queen's University Belfast offers scholarships for new students from Ireland and Northern Ireland entering Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics degree courses. The sum awarded will be £1000 (currently about 1210 euro) for the first year of study.

Requirements

These scholarships are open for prospective students having been offered a place of study at the following schools of the Queen's University Belfast: Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering courses only), Biological Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (Biomedical Sciences courses only), Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Successful candidates will have attained a minimum of three 'A' grades at A-level (or equivalent in alternative qualifications); further selection will be made on the basis of academic performance. Applicants must be from the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
