The University of Leeds offers the Social Enrichment Scholarship to students undergoing financial pressures. The sum awarded will be £3000 (currently about 3620 euro) per academic year.
These bursaries are open to first year students of undergraduate degrees taught at the University of Leeds. Applicants must come from a household with an annual income which has been assessed by the Student Loans Company as being of or below £25,000 per annum and be eligible to receive the maximum UK maintenance grant while being liable for the full UK undergraduate fees of £9,000 per academic year without receiving a subsidy from outside the University. Candidates must also be the first ones in their families to undertake a higher education degree.
