General Description

The Kingsbury Scholarship, offered at Imperial College London, is available to high achieving engineering students. Grantees will receive a full scholarship of £20000 a year for the duration of their 4-year course. This consists of an annual tuition fee waiver of £9000 and an £11,000 maintenance grant, excluding repeat periods of study.

Requirements

The Kingsbury Scholarship is awarded each year to a prospective student of Engineering at the Imperial College London who has not undertaken undergraduate study before. Eligible candidates must have worked for at least 9 months in engineering industry in the UK before their course starts at Imperial. Applicants must be Home/UK students who has been assessed for financial support through Student Finance England (SFE) (or equivalent funding authority), with a SFE verified household income of less than £60,000 per annum; they should also submit a statement explaining how and why they intend to seek employment in UK engineering industry upon graduation.
