General information on this scholarship
General Description
The Hungarian State Scholarships offered for partial PhD studies last for 10 months. The scholarships are available for those who are enrolled in PhD programme through a higher education institution at their origin country or in foreign country excluding Hungary. HUF 100 000 stipend a moth that will be paid by the host institution while accommodation costs will be paid by the scholarship holder. Scholarship-holders from the Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia and Poland will receive the stipend from the sending party and the respective scholarship offices of the country will determine the amount.
Requirements
The limit of age is 35 years.
Those who are with a residence/migration permit or in course of applying for a permit in Hungary are not eligible. Foreign students who have permanent residence in Hungary or employed on permanent basis aren’t eligible too. Those who are in employment applying for part-time studies or for programmes that are not financed through Hungarian State aren’t eligible for applying.
